The Swan

In the last few months, one of my favorite subjects to paint has been swans. They are beautiful elegant birds and I am really drawn to them! In my Etsy shop, I have two prints with swans and just recently I painted a large painting of a swan swimming in a lake carrying a rose. I named this painting The Swan. Before I started painting I had a picture in my head of what exactly I wanted this painting to look like and I really wanted it to look like a page out of a storybook. I think I accomplished just that!

This painting is really special and would look stunning in someone’s home. I can imagine it hanging in a sweet baby’s nursery or little girl’s bedroom. I went back and forth on whether I wanted to create prints of this swan painting, but I finally decided to sell her as she is without any prints.
